Location

The 17th Annual Workshop on Maximum Entropy and Bayesian Methods will be a joint meeting with the International Society for Bayesian Analysis, and will be the first such joint meeting. It will be held at Boise State University, Boise Idaho, August 3-8, 1997.

The meeting will be residential and take place on the Boise State University Campus. Dormitory rooms are available on campus and hotel accomidations are available for those who would prefer to stay off campus. There will be a tutorial on Bayesian Statistics, most likely on Sunday afternoon, and other tutorials during the week.

Call For Papers

The scientific program will consist of invited, contributed and poster paper sessions. Tutorials are being arranged on several subjects. The Program Committee is inviting contributed papers which will be assigned to regular and poster sessions. Authors of contributed papers should send or e-mail a title and short abstract to one of the Program Committee members no later than June 30, 1997.

The dorm rooms will be approximately $10 per night. If you wish hotel accomidations please e-mail Gary Erickson, as there are several choices. The registration fee for the meeting will be $250 unless we get funding, which looks promising. If the funds arrive we will reduce the fee accordingly. The fee has been in the range of $350 for previous meetings.
