The pringle surface is simply a normal everyday saddle that, coincidentally, looks exactly like a pringle when bounded by a circle. The Pringle Hypothesis was discovered by Brian Larson in an astonishing flash of insight during a Calc 3 lab. It states that every surface we study in Calc 3 resembles either a pringle or a chair (which also looks like a degenerate pringle). We will leave any further conclusions up to you.
