A popular golf magazine does a survey of golfers and finds the following relationship between scores for 1st round and overall scores. avg 1st round score = 64 sd = 3 avg overall score = 207 sd = 6 r = .04 The magazine writer uses the regression line to predict overall scores from the 1st round scores.
